7th Grade Update
The 7th graders finished the novel, Crispin: The Cross of Lead by Avi, in January. They also researched, and wrote a paper on the Feudalism System which integrates 7th gr. social studies, literature and writing. The 7th graders not only researched, but supplied citations in their paper and a bibliography to correspond with their source of information. Congratulations to all the 7th graders for all their hard work on this novel!
New 8th Grade Novel
The 8th Graders are now reading, Like a Swarm of Bees by Carol Anne O'Marie, CSJ, that was suggested by our Principal Sr. Judy. It is based on the true story of the Sisters of St. Joseph and their missionary work in America in 1835. The novel connects not only to our religious classes, but gives deep meaning and value of trusting God and sharing his Good News to others through our actions and words.
